The Future of Renewable Energy Is Closer Than We Think
Clean energy technologies are advancing faster than ever, bringing a more sustainable future within reach.
From cheaper solar panels to more efficient wind turbines, innovation is driving down costs and increasing reliability. With the right investment and policy support, renewable energy could power a cleaner, healthier planet for generations to come.
The transition is not just about reducing emissions. It is about building a stronger, more resilient energy system for the future.
Try it: pick a tool and draw right here.
You draw right on the screen
Press the key and everything on your monitors holds still. Pick a window or an area, add arrows or text, and the screenshot comes out ready to send.
One key
PrintScreen, or a click on the Screeny icon next to the clock.
Window or any area
Click a window to take all of it, or drag to cut out just the part you need.
Magnifier
Shows the pixels under the cursor, so the selection lands right on the edge.
Arrows, boxes, text
Plus numbers, a highlighter, and blur for anything private. Each tool has its own key.
Pastes anywhere
Telegram, a browser, Word, Paint: the screenshot goes in like any other picture.
Pin on top

Ctrl+TCopies the words
Select a paragraph on a picture or in a paused video and get text you can edit. QR codes and barcodes are read too: copy what’s inside, or open it if it’s a link. All of it works offline.
BReady to post
Press B and the screenshot lands on a gradient with padding, rounded corners and a soft shadow. Six backgrounds, three paddings, three corner sizes, shadow on or off. Copy, save, pin and history all get the same look.
Settings
Use PrintScreen, your own keys, or take Win+Shift+S over from the Snipping Tool, all at once if you like. Here you also pick the folder, start with Windows, switch off features you don’t need, and decide whether Screeny checks for updates.
Recent screenshots
Each one is saved as a PNG. Click a thumbnail to copy it again, or pin it, open it, or find it in the folder.

Your screenshots stay on your PC. No account, no cloud. Screenshots are never sent anywhere. Screeny goes online only to check GitHub for new versions, and asks before installing one that changes anything you use. You can turn the check off in Settings. If you ask for it, Screeny also downloads the precise text recognition module. Your files are here:
%AppData%\Screeny\settings.jsonScreenshots%LocalAppData%\Screeny\History\If PrintScreen opens the Windows screen capture. Windows 11 does this by default. Screeny notices, uses Ctrl+Alt+S instead, and tells you. To get PrintScreen back, open Settings, then Accessibility, then Keyboard, and turn off the Print Screen option.
Several monitors. Screeny captures all of them at once, and the selection can cross from one screen to another. Monitors with different scaling haven't been tested yet.
